At Gems & Minerals, we take great care in sourcing and providing authentic gemstones, raw crystals, mineral specimens, and natural stones.

Due to the unique nature, value sensitivity, and handling risk of gemstones, most purchases are considered final and non-returnable.

This policy explains the conditions under which returns or exchanges may or may not be accepted.


1. General Return Policy

Once a product has been:

  • Purchased in-store
  • Dispatched via courier
  • Collected through self-pickup

the sale is generally treated as final and non-refundable.

Returns are not accepted for reasons such as:

  • Change of mind
  • Personal belief or expectation
  • Astrology or healing result concerns
  • Color shade / natural variation differences
  • Minor inclusions or natural marks
  • Natural texture or structure variations

All gemstones and crystals are naturally formed and may include:

  • Lines
  • Inclusions
  • Marks
  • Color variations

These are natural characteristics — not defects.


2. Exchange Eligibility (Limited Cases Only)

An exchange may be considered only under rare circumstances, such as:

  • Product mismatch from what was confirmed
  • Incorrect item delivered
  • Major physical damage during transit (with proof)

In such cases:

  • The request must be reported within 24 hours of delivery / purchase
  • Clear photos / videos must be shared
  • Original packaging must be retained

Final approval for exchange remains at the discretion of Gems & Minerals management.


3. Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following items are strictly non-returnable & non-exchangeable:

  • Astrology / birthstone selections made as per customer belief
  • Custom-sourced gemstones
  • Special-order or reserved stones
  • Customized cutting or polishing requests
  • Raw mineral specimens & crystal clusters
  • Discounted or clearance items

4. Physical Damage Claim During Transit

If an item arrives physically damaged, customers must:

  1. Record unboxing photos / video
  2. Share damage proof within 24 hours of delivery
  3. Do not discard packaging materials

Each case will be reviewed based on:

  • Courier investigation
  • Packaging strength
  • Nature of the product

Minor chipping, surface patterns, or texture variations in raw stones
are considered natural properties, not damage.


5. No Refund or Exchange Based on Astrology / Healing Results

Gemstones and crystals are often purchased for:

  • Astrology or planetary alignment
  • Energy and healing beliefs
  • Spiritual or emotional balance

However:

  • Results vary from person to person
  • No guaranteed outcomes are claimed or implied
  • Purchases are made at the customer’s discretion

Refunds or exchanges will not be accepted based on:

  • Expected life results
  • Astrological expectations
  • Healing or emotional outcome dissatisfaction

6. Inspection Before Purchase

Customers are encouraged to:

  • Physically inspect products in-store (where possible)
  • Ask for product details before purchase
  • Request additional photos / videos for remote orders

We are happy to guide and clarify before the order is finalized.


7. Exchange Process (If Approved)

If an exchange request is approved:

  • The item must be returned in unused condition
  • In original packaging
  • Along with bill / purchase proof

Replacement will be provided based on available stock.

No monetary refunds or credit notes will be issued unless explicitly mentioned.


8. Policy Rights & Final Decision

Gems & Minerals reserves full right to:

  • Approve or decline exchange requests
  • Modify or update policy terms
  • Apply exceptions only in genuine situations

All decisions made by management shall be considered final.
